Funny/Interesting
I'll give you five guesses who wrote the following two paragraphs:
"North Philly, May 4, 2001. Officer Sean Devlin, Narcotics Strike Force, was working the morning shift. Undercover surveillance. The neighborhood? Tough as a threedollar steak. Devlin knew. Five years on the beat, nine months with the Strike Force. He’d made fifteen, twenty drug busts in the neighborhood."
"Devlin spotted him: a lone man on the corner. Another approached. Quick exchange of words. Cash handed over; small objects handed back. Each man then quickly on his own way. Devlin knew the guy wasn’t buying bus tokens. He radioed a description and Officer Stein picked up thebuyer. Sure enough: three bags of crack in the guy’s pocket. Head downtown and book him. Just another day at the office."
I'll bet no one guessed that it started with:
"The petition for a writ of certiorari is denied. CHIEF JUSTICE ROBERTS, with whom JUSTICE KENNEDY joins, dissenting from denial of certiorari."
That's right, it's not a crime novel, it's the beginning of a dissenting opinion written by Chief Justice Roberts issued last week. Personally, I think it's kind of cool.

Touchdown Buckeyes
Nick and I went to the OSU home game against Ohio University for our
first game of the year. What a great atmosphere!!! It was a blast
and despite a slow start the Buckeyes defeated the Bobcats. Go Bucks!

Swimming with Spinner Porpoises
Hulapo'e Bay, right below the hotel, is famous for a large pod of
Spinner Porpoises that come in often. If you just happen to be
snorkling out there, they will sometimes swim under and around you. I
just happened to have such an encounter a couple minutes ago. I was
out just above where my big toe is on this photo and was surrounded by
at least 30 of them. Some of the playful youngsters were going flips
and spins within 10 or 20 yards. Magnificent!!

Video of 12th at Manele Bay
We were on the 12th hole at Manele Bay when we got a call from Bald Head. Here's what we were doing when Bill, Lucille and the kids called.

Sailing Camp
I'm parent of the day at sailing camp. This is a video of the start of a race from the dock. Beautiful cloudless day in central Ohio with about 5mph winds (not much, but better than it was earlier).
